Baseball, Babies and a Bride

If you haven’t noticed by looking at my dessert page, I personally love chocolate and last week I had a big craving for something chewy, chocolatey and peanutty. These little gems are a result of that craving. I used super moist triple chocolate cake mix, melted butter, brown sugar and chocolate peanut butter morsels to make some of the best chewy cookies I have ever had.
Recently I have heard a few people talk about how they melt the butter when preparing their cookies. I had never heard of that before, most of the recipes that I had read called for softened butter. But after hearing so much talk about it, I thought I would give it a try and I think it is a little trick that I will use from now on.
Makes: Approximately 3 dozen cookies
You will need:
If you can’t manage to find the swirled milk chocolate and peanut butter morsels, peanut butter chips would work just as well. If, and that is a big IF, you can manage to share these, you’ll be a very popular person! I passed them out at work last week and they were gone in a flash. People still keep asking me for them. Enjoy! :)
