Kellan is 6 Months Old! at Life's Ambrosia

It’s been a long time since I’ve done an update on Kellan so I thought I’d take the time today to share a little bit about our Little Dude.

I can’t believe it has already been 6 months since this little bundle that is sleeping on my chest right now came into our lives. He is growing so fast. He’s right on target for height and weight. He’s sitting up unassisted and seems to be really frustrated by the fact that he can’t crawl just yet. I have a feeling I’ll be one busy mama once he figures that out.

He has an unbelievably infectious belly laugh. He does it when his daddy sneezes or when you tickle him. When he sees himself on the iPad or in pictures. And when mama sings and dances to “I think I’m a Bunny” by Todd McHatton. He also laughs at his dog Pumpkin whom he seems to love very much. She on the other hand, isn’t so sure about him yet. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.

He has also had some experience with solids in the recent weeks. We’ve tried avocado, yams, potatoes and bananas. Avocado, yams and potatoes didn’t go very well at first but he seems to like bananas. I can’t wait to start making more food for him. Once I do, I’ll be creating a section on the blog for those that are interested in making their own baby food too.

All in all Ryan and I are having a blast with him. Watching him grow, figuring things out and developing his personality. Every day is better and better. And we can’t wait to see what’s next.
