That’s right. It’s here. Little Dude’s first birthday.
I cannot believe that it has been a year since I said to Ryan “I think my water broke.” A year since his response was “Does this mean I can’t go running?” A year since my short 6 hour labor. A year since we met the most amazing little man we’ve ever known.
It has been a wonderful year. A year full of first smiles. First cries. First food. First fits. First trips. First laughs. First words. And first steps.
I cannot imagine a time that he was not in our lives. His smile lights up the whole room. His belly laugh makes everyone around burst into laughter too. He likes to play tricks. He loves mangoes. And Mickey Mouse.
He likes to dance. Loves being tickled. And thinks it’s hilarious when you pretend like his feet stink.
He’s captured our hearts. He’s our Little Dude and we love him.
