Merry Christmas Eve friends! It is my favorite day of the year. The anticipation and the excitement reminds me of that Disneyland commercial. I find myself saying “I’m too excited to sleep” What about you?
Christmas Eve has always been my favorite day of the year. As a kid one of my best friends and I would make a “To Do” list in order to make the day go faster. We would schedule things like “Watch TV 1 hour” “Talk on the Phone 20 minutes” “Play with Cat 15 minutes”. As I grew up Christmas Eve remained my favorite day of the year except now I realize what a precious day it is and I don’t want it to end. No more lists to make it go by faster. Instead, I savor every moment of it. Every carol. Every sip of eggnog. Every crackle of the fire. Every “Hot Dog!” from George Bailey. I really do cherish this day and now that we get to share Christmas Eve with Kellan, well, it simply doesn’t get any better than that.
I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful, magical Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Spend the time with your loved ones. Eat good food. Sing. Laugh. Have a ball. And cherish every single moment.
