Every week there seems to be some new fad diet. From the cabbage soup diet, to the Atkins diet, to the newest diet pills and diet meal plans we are constantly bombarded. Instead of embracing these, I believe the right amount of healthy dishes in your diet is all you need so I have compiled a list of some of my favorite healthy dishes. Enjoy!

A fresh salsa made with black beans, onion, fresh cilantro, chili powder, cumin and, just for a little kick, some cayenne pepper.
Chicken and beans sprouts with five spice powder spooned into cool lettuce leaves.
A quick, simple salad with peppery arugula, parmesan cheese and earthy mushrooms.
A simple salad of sliced cucumbers and tomatoes.
