Halloween Popcorn Mix

Halloween Popcorn Mix is a festive quick and easy no-cook snack. It’s loaded with popcorn, candy corn, m&ms, pretzels and Halloween sprinkles.

Need a festive Halloween treat to serve at your costume party this year? Look no further than this Halloween Popcorn Mix. This super fun treat is packed with all kinds of goodies making it a great sweet n’ salty snack.

I love popcorn snack mixes because they are so customizable. You could add whatever add-ins you like. I love to go the salty sweet route because my family loves the sweet aspects of the mix, while I usually go for the salty.

It really is the best of both worlds.

What ingredients do you need to make a Halloween Popcorn Snack Mix?

  • POPCORN: I make popcorn fresh when I make my snack mixes. I use this air popper and it’s pretty easy.
  • PRETZELS: Mini twist pretzels work best for this recipe.
  • OREO COOKIES: I love to use the Halloween Oreos for the added orange coloring.
  • CANDY CORN: You either love it or hate it. My family loves it so it wouldn’t be a Halloween snack mix without it. That being said, if you’re not a fan, feel free to leave it out!
  • PEANUT BUTTER M&Ms: Use the halloween colored ones for this too so the colors match!
  • HALLOWEEN SPRINKLES: Sprinkles make everything better right?!
  • WHITE CHOCOLATE: This adds sweetness and binds some of the pieces together into little clusters of Halloween snack magic.

How do you make Halloween Popcorn Mix?

The great thing about this is that there is no real cooking. You have to pop the popcorn and melt the white chocolate but that’s it! Then all you need to do is combine all of the ingredients into a big bowl, then drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top and mix well.

DES’ TIP: All of the goodies to have a tendency to sneak to the bottom of the bowl. When you pour it onto a cookie sheet you might need to mix well once more.

After it’s all mixed up, spread it in a layer on a cookie sheet (you might need to use two) to allow the chocolate to harden. Once it has hardened, break it into pieces.

What do you do with leftovers?

This Halloween Popcorn Mix is best eaten the day that it is made as the popcorn starts to get stale if you keep it too long. If you have leftovers, keep it in an air tight container for up to a coupe of days.
