5 year anniversary

This coming Saturday, September 29th, Ryan and I will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. It has been a whirlwind 5 years. We’ve moved away from our home town, bought our home, worked a few jobs, started this blog and started our little family. I love the life that we have together.  I cannot wait to see what the coming years bring.

  • Kellan took his first steps last week! It started on Friday with just one step. Then on Saturday it was three in a row. Look out world!
  • There was quite a bit of interest in the book club so I thought I would list a few books for the first read and you could let me know what book you’d like to read in the comments section. The book with the most votes will be the one we read. 1. The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen 2. Blood Bones and Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton 3. A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
  • Parenthood watchers: The end of last week’s episode was in a word…heartbreaking. What did you think?
  • Ryan and I will have our first night away from Kellan this coming weekend. I’m a little nervous. I’ll let you know how it goes. Other parents how did your first night away go?

I second Peach Keeper! Although, I’ll gladly read whatever is decided on. And yeah, I did *not* see that coming on Parenthood. Once again I was in tears. I do like how the show has real issues like that in it though. I know it’s fictitious but it does a good job of portraying real issues, from nasty fights in a marriage, money trouble, all the ins and outs of raising kids, and now, illness.
