Sausage with Peppers and Onions Sandwich

I made this sandwich last week and it was a big hit with Ryan.  I sauteed savory Italian sausage with onions, garlic and red and green bell pepper before finishing it off with a little dry white wine.

This was soooo good. I wasn’t sure how I would like it because me and sausage are sometimes good, sometimes not. We used Italian Turkey Sausage and I added mushrooms that needed using and topped it all off with shredded Havarti cheese and OMG it was divine. Me and my hubby both ate 2 (the buns were small and I didn’t eat lunch, ok? … don’t judge me!) LOL
