  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 pound raw pecan halves

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, paprika, cayenne and salt together in a bowl. Whisk together egg white and water in another bowl.
  • Toss pecan halves with egg white and water. Make sure the pecans are coated.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the pecans and toss to coat. Mix well.
  • Spread pecans in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Stir and cook for an additional 20 minutes or until coating is cooked.
