Ingredients
  

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 3 overripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup Dulce de Leche

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla, butter and bananas. Add in dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
  • Add in dark chocolate chunks.
  • Spoon and spread batter into a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
  • Place dollops of dulce de leche over the top of the batter and use a knife to swirl it around.
  • Bake bread in preheated oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
