Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or other creamy dressing of your choice
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts into a resealable plastic bag. Use a meat mallet (or rolling pin) to gently pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. About 1/4 - 1 /2 inch thick.
  • Pour dressing into the resealable bag. Seal the bag and rub the dressing into the chicken to make sure it's completely coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place chicken breasts into air fryer basket. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Cook at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. Turn chicken and cook for another 5 - 6 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 160 degrees. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving. It will continue cooking during this time. Chicken is done when it registers 165 degrees.

Notes

Chicken is considered cooked through when a meat thermometer registers 165 degrees.
Depending on the size of the chicken breast, you may need more or less cooking time. I used medium sized chicken breasts that were about 8 ounces. Small chicken breasts (under 8 ounces) will take less time. Chicken breasts over 8 ounces can take up to 15 to 20 minutes.
