Ingredients

  • 8 Chicken drumsticks
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley

Instructions

  • Whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • Place chicken in a bowl and pour marinade over the top. Toss chicken in marinade to make sure it is coated completely. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the grill to 400 degrees. Once preheated, turn off one side of the grill to prepare for indirect heat. Place chicken on the side of the grill that is not on. Close lid and cok for 15 minutes. Turn and cook for another 15 minutes. Move chicken to direct heat for another 5 minutes until desired color and cooked through. Chicken is cooked through when it reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Sprinkle with parsley, if desired, and serve.

Notes

I have only made this recipe with chicken legs, if you prefer to use another cut of chicken keep in mind that the cooking time may vary depending on the size of the chicken pieces.
