Parmesan Polenta

Parmesan Polenta is a perfectly creamy side dish. Made with cornmeal, milk, butter and Parmesan, everyone will love it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup polenta not instant
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Heat milk, water and salt in a medium saucepan until steaming.
  • Add in polenta and cook, stirring frequently until mixture becomes thickened and creamy. This could take about 30 minutes. No need to stir continuously, but just enough that it doesn't burn or stick to the pan.
  • Add in Parmesan cheese and granulated garlic. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
