Funfetti Cookies

Sweet, chewy and loaded with sprinkles these Funfetti Cookies are a treat for the whole family! Funfetti morsels are added for even more fun!

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 9oz bag funfetti morsels
  • 1/4 cup rainbow jimmies

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Using a handheld mixer, cream together butter and sugar until they are light and fluffy. This will take about 3 minutes.
  • Add in the eggs and vanilla. Beat until combined.
  • Add in flour, baking soda, salt and cornstarch. Beat until dough forms.
  • Fold in funfetti morsels and sprinkles. Mix just until combined.
  • Place tablespoon full of rounded cookie dough on a baking sheet 2 - 3 inches apart. Top with a few more sprinkles. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 minutes or until edges start to brown. Remove and allow to cool completely before eating.

Notes

Use a cookie scoop to help ensure uniform cookies.
These cookies will be a little puffed when removed from the oven but will flatten as they cool.
These cookies will spread a bit while cooking so make sure to space them apart.
