Fig Jam

With just a handful of ingredients you can make your own fig jam right at home! This sweet spread is a great addition to cheese boards.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound figs (green or black) rinsed, pat dry, stemmed and quartered
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water

Notes

Keep in mind the figs that you use will determine the final color of your jam. I used green figs so my jam is more of an amber color. If you use black figs your jam will be a deeper purplish color.
