Pizza Bites

Easy Pepperoni Pizza Bites made with crostini, pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni. These appetizer bites are perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 12 crostini (or baguette slices)
  • 1 clove garlic peeled
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup diced pepperoni
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Turn your oven to the broil setting.
  • Lay the baguette slices in a single layer on the cookie sheet. Cook under the broiler for about 1 minute. Just until they are slightly toasted.
  • Once they are toasted, rub each slice with the clove of garlic. Return to the oven and broil for 1-2 more minutes or until they turn slightly brown.
  • Using about a teaspoon of sauce, spread sauce over the toast. Layer with cheese and then pepperoni. Repeat until all baguette slices are complete. Put under the broiler until cheese melts.

Notes

I used the middle oven rack when making these. If the slices are closer to the broiler, they will cook faster so keep an eye on them.
