Ingredients

Pizza Dough Pretzel Bites

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 12 cups water
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • sea salt

Mustard Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set side.
  • Divide pizza dough into 4 equal balls. Roll each ball into a 12 inch rope. Cut each rope into 1 inch pieces.
  • Bring 12 cups of water to a bowl in a large pot. Once boiling, add in baking soda. Working in batches (about 8 at a time) boil pretzels for 10 - 15 seconds. Use a slotted spoon to transfer boiled pretzels to a paper towel lined plate. Repeat until all pretzel bites are boiled.
  • Beat together egg with 1 teaspoon water. Place pretzel bites on prepared baking sheets, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with salt. Bake in preheated oven for 10 - 12 mintutes or until golden brown.
  • While pretzels are cooking whisk together sauce ingredients.
  • Serve pretzels warm with dip.

Notes

Do not boil the pretzels for more than 15 seconds or they may take on a metallic taste.
