I heart Sloppy Joes. I have ever since I was a little kid. How can you not? Meat simmered in a delectable sauce and piled on a toasty bun. They are saucy, messy and scrumptious. And these Sriracha BBQ Slopppy Joes are no exception.

While going through all of my recipes for the redesign of the blog, I discovered that I only have one recipe for Sloppy Joes on here. ONE. Upon realizing that, I decided that I needed to remedy that ASAP and made these Sloppy Joes using the Sriracha BBQ sauce from this meatloaf. They were amazing friends and made me realize one thing, I do not make sloppy joes nearly enough.

You may have noticed that in that last paragraph I mentioned the redesign. That’s right, we’re still working on it. And by we I mean Ryan. He’s been putting in hours upon hours for the last few months working on it. Sweetheart right? I think so.

And now, on Sunday, after 4 years, Life’s Ambrosia will have a whole new look so be sure to come check it out.  I’ve been watching Ryan (and giving my 2 cents) for the last few months and I am so excited for the new look. I have wanted to share it with you for so long and now we finally can. I hope you all will love it as much as I do!

In the meantime, make these sloppy joes because, well, they are yummy. That is all.

So I made these tonight and I will NEVER go back to plain sloppy joes again! Your recipes always make me look forward to trying them. After the success with the Sriracha meatloaf I knew these were going to be good and they did not disappoint!

since we are diabetics in this house, our untidy samuels are open face to cut down on carbs. I also mix in finely diced celery, finely diced carrots & I use real garlic about 4 very large cloves chopped. I had never thought to add sriracha or teriyaki sauce. I will try this, but with all that salt I won’t add any extra. I use equal amounts of brown sugar & vinegar to balance it. Since I just made untidy samuels last night for dinner, I will have to wait a couple weeks to try this recipe, but I sure will. Looks good. I also use 1/2 of organic bison & replace the other half with soy crumbles, as we don’t need all that meat.. A batch like this will feed my husband & myself for dinner & lunch the next day with very generous portions open faced, Tysm for the new ideas,
