Robin Egg Chocolate Milkshake

Robin Egg Chocolate Milkshake is a sweet way to turn leftover Easter candy into an even more delicious treat! You only need 3 ingredients!

Who else loves Milkshakes?? Now they are something that I realized while working this post, that I don’t enjoy nearly often enough. I’m not sure why. The possibility for milkshake flavors is virtually endless. Same goes for the toppings. They are definitely something I am going to be treating myself to a lot more.

And since there is Easter candy about these days, I’m going to start with this Robin Egg Chocolate Milkshake. You guys, you only need 3 ingredients! I added chocolate syrup and whipped cream for additional deliciousness but those are totally optional.

But it’s an option you should totally take in my humble opinion.

If you’ve ever thought that a milkshake was only something you can get at a restaurant, let me tell you they are much easier to make than you think! All you need is the ingredients and a blender and you’ll be enjoying them at home in no time.

Let’s talk about what you need to make it:

Ingredients:

Robin egg milkshake ingredients.

CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM: You’ll wanna use the good stuff here. Tillamook Chocolate is a favorite!

ROBIN EGGS: These are malted milk balls shaped like eggs and coated in pastel colors. You can use Whoppers to make this dessert year round!

MILK: To thin the milkshake. Use whole milk, don’t substitute fat free or reduced fat.

CHOCOLATE SYRUP/WHIPPED CREAM: Optional for garnish and added deliciousness.

Step by Step Photos:

Making your own milkshakes at home is super easy. You just put all of your ingredients in a blender, blend and voila! A rich, decadent milkshake right at home. I show you how to do it here with these step by step photos.

STEP#1 Combine ice cream, robin eggs candies and 1/4 cup of milk in the blender. Blend.

STEP #2: If milkshake is too thick, add additional 1/4 cup of milk and blend.

STEP #3: Pour milkshake into a glass, top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and crushed Robin Eggs Candies.

This is Robin Egg Milkshake is obviously made during the Easter season when Easter candy is readily available. However, you can make this throughout the year by substituting Whoppers or other malted chocolate balls for the Robin Eggs.
