Boursin Cheese Pasta is a quick, flavorful pasta perfect for weeknight dinners. This easy vegetarian meal can be on the table in under 30 minutes.

Who else loves Boursin cheese? It’s full of herb flavor. Creamy yet crumbly. It is a must whenever I put out cheese boards and I adore spreading some on Triscuit crackers with a slice of salami on top. It has been one of my favorite snacks since I was a kid.

Now I don’t know about you, but that was the only way that I had ever used Boursin cheese. I’ve never thought about using it as an ingredient in other dishes. That is until I saw this Baked Boursin Cheese Pasta recipe floating around on TikTok. Once I saw it like that, I just knew that I had to give it a try

And I am so glad I did! This pasta was so easy to make and is going to be perfect for all those fresh garden tomatoes this summer!

Let’s talk about what you’re going to need to make it:

Boursin Cheese Pasta Ingredients:

The great thing about this recipe is that it only calls for 8 ingredients! Most of which you’ll probably have on hand.

  • BOURSIN CHEESE: Is a soft creamy cheese. It is a little lighter than cream cheese. It comes in a variety of flavors. For this recipe you’ll use the garlic and fine herbs variation.
  • CHERRY TOMATOES: You can also use grape tomatoes or a medley of cherry and sun golds. Just any of the bite sized tomatoes.
  • GARLIC: Fresh garlic is going to give you the best flavor.
  • SALT
  • EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
  • CAVATAPPI PASTA: I chose this pasta because I love the corkscrew shape but you can use elbow macaroni, penne or shells. Whatever you have on hand.
  • SPINACH: Fresh spinach leaves adds a pop of color and nutrition to this pasta.
  • CRUSHED RED PEPPER: This is optional but adds a touch of heat.

Step by Step Photos and Instructions:

One of the things that made me want to try this pasta, in addition to the fact that it just looked delicious, was that it looked SO easy to make. Follow along with these step by step photos and instructions.

STEP #1: Cook Boursin Cheese, cherry tomatoes, olive oil and garlic in a large baking dish at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

STEP #2: Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water and drain the rest.

STEP #3: Add cooked pasta to cooked cheese, tomatoes and garlic. Add in spinach. Pour in reserved pasta water over pasta. Toss to coat pasta and wilt spinach. Season to taste with salt.

See! I told you it was incredibly easy to make! And it is so creamy but light at the same time. You’re going to love it!

Storage and Leftovers

Boursin Cheese Pasta really is best eaten the day that it is made. You can store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat for 30 seconds to 1 minute in the microwave.

  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound cavatappi pasta
  • 3 cups packed spinach leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Unwrap boursin cheese and place in a 13x9 inch baking dish. Scatter tomatoes and garlic around. Drizzle with olive oil.

  2. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until cheese softens and tomatoes start to burst.

  3. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain but reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

  4. Remove cheese and tomatoes from oven and add cooked pasta, spinach and crushed red pepper (if using). Pour 1/4 cup pasta water over the pasta and toss to coat.
